These terms cover your use of ranker.monster — the website, the app and the API. Using the service means you accept them.

1. Accounts

You need an account to use the tools. Keep your credentials and your API keys to yourself; anything done with them counts as done by you. Tell us promptly if a key is exposed and we will revoke it.

2. Your subscription

A plan sets how much data you can pull: projects tracked, keywords checked per day, and lookups run. Usage is metered as it happens and shown in your account. Plans renew until you cancel.

3. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel any time from your account; the plan runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew. We do not refund data already pulled, because it was already paid for on your behalf to the provider. If we billed you in error, tell us and we will fix it.

4. Service data

The rankings, volumes, backlinks and estimates the service returns are search data assembled from public results and third-party sources. Use them for your own work and your clients' work, including in reports you publish. Do not resell the raw data as a feed, and do not share your keys outside your organisation.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service to attack, overload or interfere with anyone's site, including your own competitors'.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent metering, rate limits or authentication.
  • Do not use the service to build a competing data feed or to scrape our interface rather than using the API.
  • Do not use it for anything unlawful.

6. Ownership

We own the software, the interface and everything we have written. You own your project data and the reports you produce. Nothing here transfers ownership either way.

7. Your content

Keywords, domains and notes you enter stay yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service on them: to query them against our data provider, store the results, and show them back to you.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and post interruptions on the status page. Tools change: we add them, improve them, and occasionally retire one. Material changes to a tool you rely on will be announced before they land.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, that is not paid, or that is causing harm to the service. Where the cause is fixable we will say what to fix first.

10. Accuracy disclaimer

A ranking is one measurement of one results page at one moment, and volumes and traffic figures are estimates. The service is provided as-is: we do not warrant that a number is exact, that a ranking will hold, or that acting on the data produces a particular outcome.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profit, lost traffic or indirect losses.

12. Indemnity

If your use of the service causes a claim against us — unlawful use, misuse of the data, or breach of these terms — you cover the cost of defending it.

13. General

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. If a clause is unenforceable the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date at the top says when.
